Each ASL Unit is 5 weeks, twice a week, and covers topics that teach vocabulary and grammar structures through interactive conversation, lessons, and one-on-one feedback. Sessions also includes cultural lessons that focus on instilling appropriate behaviors that help students to interact respectfully within the Deaf community. By providing a combination of language skills and cultural enrichment, the course provides students with the necessary tools to communicate effectively in ASL.
